Do you have a telescope and aren't quite sure how to use it? Do you have questions about how to improve your astrophotography? Do you just have questions about telescopes, other equipment, or astronomy in general? Come to our workshop! If you're having difficulty choosing equipment or getting something you already own setup, our club members will be there to answer your questions as best we can. If you just have a general interest or are curious, some of our members will have their own gear setup and will be happy to discuss it with you and answer your questions.

There will be a program specifically about astrophotography basics and equipment provided by club member and NASA Solar System Ambassador, Brandon Porter.

This is currently planned to be an indoor event at the Fort Macon State Park visitors center, but may be changed to outdoors depending on guidance for social gatherings, which will make it weather dependent. Weather permitting, we may have some of our solar equipment out for safe viewing of the sun. This event is free and open to the public. There are no tickets or registration required
