Come down to Ft. Macon and see how the different cannons were loaded, aimed, and shot. Reenactors in 1860's period uniforms will be manning the guns.

There will be 5 demonstrations throughout the day of 4 different cannons. Firing Demonstrations will begin at:
10:30 am (6-lb Field Gun on the parade ground)
11:30 am (10-in Siege Mortar on the parade ground)
1:30 pm (32-lb on upper wall)
2:30 pm (10-in Siege Mortar on the parade ground)
3:30 pm (8-in Columbiad on upper wall)

**Note on the July 4th cannon day the 8-in Columbiad will be shot at 1:30 and a battery of three 32-lbers will be fired at 3:30 with Red, White, and Blue smoke
